President Bush Welcomes Queen Elizabeth II with Arrival Ceremony

This photograph of President George H. W. Bush, First Lady Barbara Bush, Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain, and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh was taken by Joseph H. Bailey on May 14, 1991. The four are seen walking to a reviewing stand erected on the South Lawn for an Arrival Ceremony held in honor of The Queen. The Bushes also celebrated her visit with a State Dinner in the evening. Queen Elizabeth's visit to the White House was the start of a 13 day tour of the United States.
